1790 Consulting is run by Belinda Morris, who has been developing and delivering interpretation for 20 years. Having started as a science communicator, Belinda has gone on to develop and deliver interpretation on a huge number of topics and using diverse methods of visitor engagement. She is an experienced project manager and can pull teams together to deliver creative schemes of any size and on any subject. She is also a skilled people manager, having coordinated and managed teams of interpreters, designers and volunteers for many years.

All projects are different and so there is no stock solution pulled off the shelf in answer to a project brief. All projects are considered in depth and the solutions offered or plans developed are bespoke to meet the needs of audiences and suit the collection to be presented and the chosen format of delivery.

The creative process should be fun and will result in the best engagement. Working with clients and other specialists as appropriate, projects will grow and be shaped – finally reaching a form that is deliverable. Depending on the need we can offer a full interpretive solution, or just assist in areas such as planning, scripting or editing. We can all learn from what we do. We will help evaluate the success of projects and make suggestions for further interpretation.
